Terms of service
Effective 27 July 2026
Welcome to 3D Moments. These terms cover your use of 3dmoments.co and any order you place with us. They are written to be read, not to trick anyone: if anything here is unclear, email admin@3dmoments.co and a real person will explain it.
1. Who we are
3D Moments is a family owned and operated Australian business based in country Victoria, operated by The Standard Squeeze Pty Ltd (ABN 72 652 159 450), trading as 3D Moments. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean The Standard Squeeze Pty Ltd trading as 3D Moments, and "you" means the person browsing the site or placing an order.
By using the site or placing an order you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Shipping and Refund policies, which form part of these terms.
2. What we make
Every 3D Moment is made to order. Your photograph is printed in thousands of layers of white recycled PLA, and the picture appears when light passes through the finished piece. Because each piece is personalised and physically crafted for you, a 3D Moment cannot be resold or restocked, and that shapes how ordering, cancellations and returns work below.
3. Your photo and your rights to use it
When you upload a photo you promise us that:
- you own the photo, or you have permission from whoever does (professional photographs are usually owned by the photographer, so please check you are allowed to reproduce them), and
- where the photo shows other people, you have their permission (or a parent or guardian's permission for a child) to have it printed.
You keep full ownership of your photo. You grant us a licence to store, process and reproduce it solely to produce your order, including any remake or reprint, as described in our Privacy Policy. We never use your photo for anything else without your express permission.
We may decline to print an image: usually because the photo will not print well, and occasionally because of content (we will not print images that are unlawful, hateful, or that we reasonably believe infringe someone's rights). If we decline your image we will tell you promptly, help you choose an alternative if you would like, and refund you in full if we cannot proceed.
4. Personalisation and approving your design
Our design tool shows you how your photo is cropped and where any words sit. Please check spelling, names, dates and numbers carefully: what you approve is what we print. If we make a mistake on our side, we will remake it free. If the approved design contains your mistake, talk to us anyway: we are a small family business and we will always try to find a fair fix.
Any text on a 3D Moment prints pure white, because white passes the most light. Our design tool handles this automatically; if you upload a fully self-designed image, any text in it must be pure white or it will not show when lit.
Every design is checked by a real person before printing, and we will contact you if we spot a problem.
5. Previews and the finished piece
On-screen previews, and the photography on our site, are a faithful guide but not a physical duplicate. A 3D Moment is a real object made of layered plastic: fine layer lines are part of the craft, and how vivid it looks depends on the light behind it. Small variations between prints are normal and are not faults.
6. Photo restoration orders
For Restored 3D Moments, we restore your photo first and send you the restored image to approve before anything is printed. Production timeframes start from your approval. You also receive the restored digital image by email to keep.
7. Prices and payment
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Payment is taken at checkout through the secure payment options shown there. We may change prices at any time, but never for an order you have already placed. If a pricing error is obvious (for example a $99 print listed at $9), we may cancel and refund the order rather than supply at the error price, and we will tell you first.
8. Production and delivery times
Each piece takes 12 to 36 hours of printing on its own, and we quality-check every print against the light before it ships. Please allow up to two weeks for production during busy periods, plus postage as set out in our Shipping Policy. Priority Processing, where offered, moves your order to the front of the print queue but is not a guaranteed delivery date. Timeframes are honest estimates, not promises: we would always rather take a little longer and send something right.
9. Changing or cancelling an order
Because everything is made to order, you can change or cancel your order free of charge any time before printing starts: just email admin@3dmoments.co with your order number. Once printing has begun, we can no longer cancel it, and what happens next is covered by our Refund Policy and the consumer guarantees below.
10. The Remake Promise
If the print doesn't do the photo justice, we print it again, free. That is our promise on every order. It sits alongside, and never limits, your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
11. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other law that cannot be excluded.
12. Returns and refunds
How returns, remakes and refunds work, including for items damaged in the post, is set out in our Refund Policy. In short: change of mind is not available once a personalised piece has been printed, but faults, transit damage and anything that falls short of our promise are always made right.
13. International orders
We ship worldwide. International customers are responsible for any import duties or taxes charged by their country. Where you have rights under your local consumer law, these terms do not exclude them. If you are in the EU or UK, please note the statutory 14-day cooling-off right does not apply to goods made to your personal specification, which every 3D Moment is; your statutory rights for faulty goods are unaffected.
14. Our content
The 3D Moments name, logo, website content, product photography and design tool are ours (or licensed to us) and protected by intellectual property law. Please do not copy or reuse them commercially without permission. Your photos remain yours, always.
15. Reviews and photos you share
If you post a review or send us a photo of your 3D Moment and give us permission to share it, you allow us to use that content in our marketing (for example on our site and social media), with credit where practical. You can withdraw that permission any time by emailing us, and we will stop future use.
16. Using the site fairly
You agree not to misuse the site: no unlawful activity, no attempting to break or overload it, no scraping other customers' content, and no uploading of malicious files. We may refuse service where someone is abusive to our family or attempts to misuse the store; we will always refund any order we refuse.
17. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, and always subject to section 11, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in connection with an order is limited to resupplying the goods or refunding the amount you paid. Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
18. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information and your photos, including that photos are used only to make your order and are never used to train AI models.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies from its effective date; the terms in force when you place an order are the ones that apply to that order.
20. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and disputes are subject to the courts of Victoria and courts able to hear appeals from them. This does not displace protections you are entitled to under the law of the place where you live.
